[ How to enter ]
When entering the venue, please show the ticket screen on your smartphone and present it at reception.
Please note that you may be asked to show your ID at irregular intervals. Please check in advance.
*When purchasing tickets on the day of the event, you will be required to show photo identification (driving licence, national identity card, passport, etc.).
[ Opening times ]
The doors open (check-in begins) 30 minutes before the start of the show.
After checking in, please store all your belongings except your smartphone in the free lockers and return to the check-in area.
Reassembly time:
Premium Tickets: 10 minutes before the show starts.
General Tickets: 5 minutes the show starts.
If you do not arrive by the reassembly time, you may miss the opening performance.
Please arrive with ample time to spare, as we may not be able to accommodate latecomers.
[ Requests for the guests ]
- If you have a fever of 37.5°C or higher or symptoms of a cold, you will not be allowed to enter the venue.
- Due to the nature of the performance, it is strictly forbidden for performers and audience members to speak after the show has started.
- Coughing and sneezing in the theatre is subject to the coughing etiquette.
- If you feel unwell after entering the venue, please inform a member of staff immediately. Depending on your condition or other circumstances, you may be asked to leave the venue.
- Please do not give gifts or letters to the performers as the venue does not accept them.
- It is strictly forbidden to carry knives, guns or other items that appear to be dangerous or imitations. It is also forbidden to bring items from outside the venue, other than those received at the venue, and to show or give them to the artists. (Clothing and accessories are excluded).
[ Refusal ]
- Guests can enter the Fugetsuden "Immersive Theater" performances on the specified date and time (March 20th - May 24th).
- Guests can enter the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” (February 1st - May 24th) and the Historic Odoi Momiji garden "Ao Momiji" (April 1st - May 24th).
*However, admission to the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” and the Historic Odoi Momiji garden "Ao Momiji" is only available on same day with the Immersive Theater.
*Guests attending performances starting at 7:00 PM must enter before watching the Immersive Theater. After the performance, the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden”will be closed.
- If you have a ticket for the Immersive Theater and the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” is closed on the day of your performance, unfortunately, you will not be able to enter the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden”.
In that case, you will be given a "KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL Installation Ticket" at the Immersive Theater reception.
Please come back to the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” installation at a later date.
*Please note that the Plum blossom garden “Flower Garden” may have occasional closure days. For closure day information, please be sure to check the official website in advance.
- For important notes regarding the "KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL Installation Ticket," please check the ticket purchase page on the official KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL website.
- Please do not enter the venue if you have any of the following conditions.
・People who have been in close contact with a person who is positive for a recent coronavirus infection.
・People whose family members or close acquaintances living with them are suspected of being infected.
・Anyone who has travelled within the last 14 days to a country or region where the government has imposed entry restrictions or a post-entry observation period, and anyone who has been in close contact with a person living there.
[ Dress Code and Baggage ]
- For production purposes, we recommend that attendees wear dark-coloured clothing. While entry will not be denied to those wearing other colours, we kindly ask for your cooperation in wearing dark-coloured clothing.
- To enhance immersion during the performance, please ensure that you wear the mask provided at reception over your eyes at all times. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation with regard to mask-wearing and all other rules, so that everyone can enjoy the experience together as part of the story.
- If you wear glasses, you can wear them over the mask. If you have trouble putting them on over your mask, please ask the reception staff for help.
- Please remove your shoes before entering the venue. Wearing socks or tights is required. Please do not enter barefoot.
- For production and cast considerations, and to avoid disrupting other guests' experience, please refrain from arriving dressed in attire that is similar to the cast's costumes.
- Only smartphones are permitted inside the venue. Please store all other belongings in the free lockers provided. Place your smartphone in the bag provided at reception before entering. Please refrain from removing your smartphone from the bag during the performance.
- Large items that do not fit in the lockers (such as suitcases) can be placed in the designated area beside the lockers, which is located outside the venue. However, you are responsible for managing these items yourself. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage, so it is advisable to arrive with only the essentials. Please note that reception cannot assist with this.
[ Photos and SNS ]
- Photography is permitted only at designated photo spots after the performance. During the performance, please ensure your smartphone is turned off due to lighting and sound effects.
- If photography or recording is detected during the performance, you will be asked to delete the data and leave immediately.

[ Disclaimer ]
We assume that all guests, before purchasing tickets and attending the venue to enjoy the performance, understand and agree to all of the following statements.
- In the event of a performance being cancelled for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, no refund will be made in excess of the ticket price paid.
- No refunds will be made for ticket prices due to customer circumstances.
- Resale of tickets for commercial purposes is prohibited.
- Cast is subject to change without notice. No refunds will be given for tickets due to cast changes.
- Please note that ID may be required at irregular intervals.

- Knives, guns and other items that appear to be dangerous or imitations of dangerous items are strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to bring in items other than those received from outside the venue and to show or give them to the artists. (With the exception of clothing and accessories).
- Please do not touch any exhibits and decorations inside the venue.
- Admission is open to persons aged 16 and over.
- Photography and recording are strictly prohibited after the performance has begun.
- If we determine that you are unable to comply with the rules regarding mask-wearing and other regulations after the performance begins, this will interfere with the viewing experience of other guests. In order to ensure everyone's safety and preserve the integrity of the performance, we may unfortunately have to ask you to leave. In such cases, no refunds will be issued for the ticket price.
- As with regular seated performances, the use of mobile phones after the start of the performance is strictly prohibited, except in an emergency.
- The cast and staff will take command and direct the audience safely in the case of an emergency.
- Your body temperature will be taken when you enter the venue.
If you have a temperature of 37.5°C or above, or if you have symptoms such as coughing that can be clearly identified by others, you will not be allowed to enter the theatre for any reason, in order to protect the cast and other members of the audience. No refunds will be given in such cases. If you have symptoms such as a fever or cough before leaving home, please put your own health first and do not force yourself to attend the performance.
Please be aware that your personal details may be passed on to public authorities (e.g. health authorities) in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
- If you arrive after the scheduled start time, you will be asked to wait until the designated time (approximately 15 minutes after the start) before entering, due to production requirements.
- Due to production requirements, attendance is limited to those who can move independently without assistance. Use of crutches is not permitted.
- Due to production requirements, Premium Ticket holders must sit on floor cushions or directly on the floor. You will later be asked to stand and move around the venue, so please sit in a comfortable position. If you are unable to sit on the floor (e.g. due to knee problems), please purchase a general admission ticket instead.
- If you have a disability and would like to attend the show, please contact the show representative (listed at the bottom of the page) in advance of purchasing a ticket.
- Please note that due to the structure of the venue it is not possible for wheelchair users to attend the performance.
- Please note that the venue is small and dark in some areas due to the production. Please be aware of overheads and stairs. There may be sudden darkening, flashing lights and smoke in some parts of the performance. Please be aware that the performance may cause hyperventilation, etc.
- Pregnant women and those with medical conditions are not permitted to attend.
- People who have consumed excessive amounts of alcohol or who are otherwise deemed by staff to be unfit to attend will be refused entry at the door, even if they have purchased a ticket. No refunds will be given in such cases.
- Please do not eat or drink in the venue, including chewing gum and sweets.
- Smoking is not permitted in the venue.
- Pets are not allowed in the venue.
- No responsibility is taken for theft, loss or damage of valuables.
- No responsibility is taken for any problems between customers.
- No responsibility can be accepted for any accidents, injuries or illnesses at the venue.
- We accept no responsibility for accidents on the way to or from the venue. Please take care on the way to the venue to avoid accidents.
- The parking lot has limited space, so if it is full, please use a nearby parking lot. We recommend coming by public transportation.
