All personal information collected by eplus Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) in connection with the services provided by the Company will be handled and protected in compliance with the terms and conditions set out below (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”).
If Customers feel that the Company is not compliant with this Privacy Policy, they are requested to contact the Company’s Customer Center.
As a business operator handling personal information, the Company is committed to maintain and continually improve its system for protecting Customers’ personal information in compliance with laws and regulations applicable to personal information, by ensuring that at the Company all employees recognize the importance of security of personal information so that the Customer can use the Services with a sense of security and satisfaction. The Company hereby declares that it will use its best endeavor to protect Customers’ personal information with the following always in mind..
Compliance with Law

When handling personal information, the Company will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the protection of personal information including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the duties stipulated in the guidelines of the Personal Information Protection Commission, and this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information Collected by the Company

Upon receiving Customers’ applications for membership registration, purchase orders for tickets, entries to campaigns or any other applications or inquiries, the Company will collect their personal information such as the name, address, telephone number(s), e-mail address(es), payment-related information and address for receiving post. In addition, if a face authentication system is used to confirm the visitor’s identity at the event site, a photograph of the visitor will also be collected.
Use within the Scope of Purpose of Use

Unless otherwise provided by law or permitted with the consent of Customers, the Company will handle their personal information only for the purposes stipulated below.

To sell or deliver merchandise (tickets, CDs, DVDs, etc.) or services made available by the Company, including receiving applications, arranging shipments, processing payments, or handing tickets or merchandise at an event site;

To carry out sales promotion activities, including providing information about the services provided by the Company or to introduce merchandise or services offered by appropriate suppliers, as determined by the Company;

To provide user support in connection with the Company’s services, such as responding to inquiries;

To provide Customers’ personal information collected by the Company, upon a Customer’s application for a ticket, to the event organizer, event operator, and/or the event performer’s management office (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Event Organizer”) in order to enable them to do the following: (1) to announce any change or cancellation of an event or procedure for the processing of refund claims, (2) to identify Customers when they apply for tickets, receive tickets, or enter the event site, (3) to provide merchandise or benefits to Customers, (4) to respond to Customers’ inquiries about events, and (5) to identify Customers who are in breach of the Company’s terms or who engage in nuisance behavior, etc. at events;

To carry out questionnaires or other surveys aimed at developing and providing new or additional services by the Company or to carry out various promotional campaigns, such as gift campaigns;

To produce statistical data in such a manner that makes it impossible to identify individuals for the purpose of sales activities, marketing analysis, or developing new services;

To access Customers via the Internet, mobile phone websites, or telephones in connection with the operation or management of working systems or to respond to their inquiries and to maintain relevant records;

To perform preliminary investigations or examinations in connection with applications for the Web Open System or other related services;

To analyze browsing and purchasing histories and carry out advertisements/promotions for new services/merchandise taking into consideration the likes and tastes identified by the analysis; and

To provide other services related to the purposes listed in items (ⅰ) through (ⅸ) above.

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

Customers shall agree to provide the personal information of the person who has purchased the ticket and the person who will use the ticket to the ticket issuer so that the ticket issuer can issue the relevant ticket.
Statement of Purpose of Use

When collecting Customers personal information, the Company will clearly state, in advance of the collection, the purpose of use, the scope of parties who share the personal information, contact information for inquiries, and other necessary information. In some cases, where necessary, the Company may record the details of Customers’ transactions and/or inquiries (including voice recording) and will use such information solely for the purpose of responding to Customers’ request in an appropriate and prompt manner.

Customers have the right to refuse to provide personal information. However, in such case, Customer shall acknowledge and agree that they may be unable to use the services provided by the Company.

Customers shall acknowledge that the personal information collected by the Company may be used in combination with the personal information currently held by the Company or the personal information received from the Company’s contractors or business partners.
Security Measures

The Company will take appropriate and necessary security measures, which meet the current up-to-date technological standards, in order to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, leakage or other misuse. Specifically, they include the following measures.

To specify the devices used to handle personal data and the employees authorized to use such devices, and thus to prevent unnecessary access to the personal data.
Supervision of Contractors

The Company may entrust third parties with the processing of Customers’ personal information on the Company’s behalf within the scope of the stated purpose of use. Such third parties will be selected after ensuring that they can provide a high level of security for personal information and be supervised by the Company through an appropriate contract with them or otherwise.
Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company may, for such purposes as stated below, provide Customers personal information to third parties. The Customer shall agree to such provision of personal information to third parties prior to the use of the Company’s services. Except in the following cases, the Company will not provide Customers’ personal information to any third party without Customers’ consent.

The Customer shall agree that the Company may provide some portion of the Customer’s personal information (such as the name, address and e-mail address) to certain third parties (“Contractors”) to whom the Company outsources part of its operation and permit such Contractors to use the personal information to the extent necessary for the purposes of use stated in the “Use within the Scope of Purpose of Use”

Customers shall agree that the Company may provide some portion of their personal information, such as their name, address, and e-mail address, to certain third parties (hereinafter referred to as “Contractors”) to whom the Company outsources part of its operations, and they shall permit Contractors to use the personal information to the extent necessary for the purposes of use stated in the Use within the Scope of Purpose of Use.[e+1]

Event Organizers may provide Customers who have purchased tickets from them with information concerning any change or cancellation of events by post, telephone, e-mail, or otherwise. Customers shall agree that the Company may provide some portion of their personal information, such as their name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address, to Event Organizers.

To enable the Company to identify that people entering an event site are holders of valid tickets, Customers shall agree to provide the Event Organizer and the operator of the event site with the personal information of both the person who has purchased a ticket and the person who will use that ticket.

Customers shall agree that the Company may share their personal information with the financial institutions that process the payments made by credit cards, bank transfers, or otherwise for the tickets or merchandise purchased through the Services in order to enable them to confirm the validity of the credit cards used or the completion of bank transfers made by Customers.
In any of the following cases, which are legally recognized as exceptional cases, the Company may provide all or part of a Customer’s personal information to any third party without the consent of that Customer.

When the Company is legally required to do so;

When there is a need for the Company to do so to protect the life, health, or property of a person but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Customer;

When there is a special need for the Company to do so to improve the public wellbeing or promote the healthy development of children but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the Customer;

When there is a need for the Company to do so in order to cooperate with national government organizations, local governments or any people entrusted by them in their performance of the functions prescribed by law but it is feared that such a performance may be hindered if the Customer consents thereto
If the Company needs to provide a Customer’s personal information to a third party for any purpose other than those listed above, the Company will request and obtain the Customer’s prior consent.
Request for Disclosure or Amendment

If the Company is requested by a Customer to disclose, amend or delete his/her personal information or discontinue the introduction of merchandise or services, the Company will promptly do so upon confirming that the requester is the Customer him/herself. Such requests shall be made to the point of contact to which the Customer submitted the personal information.
Response to Complaints

The Company will respond to Customers’ complaints about the personal information handled by the Company in a prompt and appropriate manner while establishing and improving relevant internal systems.
Continuous Improvement of Internal Systems

In order to handle Customers’ personal information appropriately, the Company will endeavor to continuously strengthen and improve relevant internal systems, including revising this Policy, by means of establishing applicable internal rules, providing employee trainings, carrying out appropriate internal audits and/or otherwise.
Revision of Privacy Policy

The Company may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the amended terms on this website for a certain period. If personal information needs to be used for a purpose other than that for which it was collected, the notification thereof will also be posted on this website. Customers may refuse to accept such use at their own discretion.
