ABOUT SHIBUYA ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL
Commonly known as the 'Shibuya Entertainment Festival,' it is one of the largest circuit events in Japan, led mainly by the voluntary group 'Shibuya Entertainment Business Association,' which aims to promote 'manners and raise awareness' and 'self-regulation for safety and security,' aiming to promote the Shibuya area and revitalize the entertainment scene. Since over 60 years ago, following the revision of the 'Entertainment Business Law,' it has been held since 2016. It serves as an opportunity for foreign visitors and residents living in Japan, as well as young people, to visit clubs. Tokyo is a city that promotes music trends alongside London and New York. Among them, the Shibuya area is home to many nightclubs, live houses, and CD/record shops, and the music they produce is always trendy, greatly influencing fashion and youth culture, attracting global attention.
