MARTIN TAYLOR “Standards”
ジェフ・ベックが「世界最高のギタリスト」、パット・メセニーが「史上屈指のソロ・ギタリストのひとり」と称賛。ギターの可能性を探求するマーティン・テイラーがニュー・アルバム『Standards』を携えて登場する。UK出身の彼はヴァイオリン奏者ステファン・グラッペリ（伝説のギタリスト、ジャンゴ・ラインハルトとの共演で知られる）のバンドで頭角を現し、1980年代後半から無伴奏ソロ・パフォーマンスを開始。2002年には英国王室より「MBE（Member of the British Empire：名誉大英勲章第五位）」の叙勲を受けた。2017年以来となる今回のコットンクラブ公演では、グレート・アメリカン・ソングブックの名曲を情感豊かなアレンジで蘇らせた『Standards』収録楽曲を中心に、至高のソロ・ギターの世界をライヴで繰り広げる。
