SULLIVAN FORTNER TRIO
最新作『Southern Nights』がグラミー賞「最優秀ジャズ・インストゥルメンタル・アルバム賞」を受賞。昨年の8月に行われたソロ公演も記憶に新しい俊英ピアニスト、サリヴァン・フォートナーがちょうど1年ぶりにコットンクラブへ帰還する。ロイ・ハーグローヴのバンドに参加して頭角を現し、セシル・マクロリン・サルヴァント、サマラ・ジョイ、カート・エリング等、数々のヴォーカリストとも共演。『Southern Nights』ではR&Bの巨星アラン・トゥーサンやビル・リー（映画監督スパイク・リーの父）らの楽曲も含む多彩なレパートリーに取り組んだ。今回は、ヨーロッパ・ツアーでも大好評を博した自身のトリオでの登場。磨き抜かれた音色、卓越したアンサンブルの双方が満喫できる3デイズになること間違いなし。
